Freedom of the Borough Parade

The Army Training Centre, Pirbright has been awarded Honorary Freedom of Woking Borough. To mark this very special occasion the Centre will parade into Jubilee Square in Woking with Colours flying, bands playing and drums beating on St George’s Day, Sunday 23 April 2017. The Mayor of Woking will then present them with a velum scroll.
Following the ceremony the Parade will march past the Mayor and Civic guests in Church Street East.
Members of the public are invited to come along and witness this historical event. Proceedings will commence at 11am with the parade to start at 11.30am. A road closure will be in place in Church Street East from 7am to 1pm.
