To see a wonderful selection of Kenwood memorabilia visit The Lightbox.
This exhibition celebrates the 70th anniversary of Ken Wood inventing the A100 Turnover Toaster in a Goldsworth Road workshop.
The display will feature many classic Kenwood items and reveal the story of how the company grew to global success after founding the business in Woking town centre.
To mark Ken Wood’s centenary year (born 1916), his step-son John Wood will unveil a blue plaque on the 7 September 2017 at 5pm. A commemorative blue plaque will be placed on the wall of KwikFit on Goldsworth Road, the site of the invention of the A100 Turnover Toaster in a Goldsworth Road workshop 70 years ago.
Please see the Lightbox website for opening hours.
