New Adventures is an iconic and ground-breaking dance-theatre company. Since 1987, they have been known for creating works that have altered the public perception of what is possible when it comes to telling stories without words. The company is led by celebrated choreographer and director, Matthew Bourne.
As part of the current tour of Edward Scissorhands, New Adventures has partnered with Farnham Maltings, Surrey Libraries, and Woking Borough Council to create an original movement performance with LGBTQ+ adults from Surrey. The piece is based on the themes of inclusion, exclusion, community, and difference that are explored in the story of Edward Scissorhands.
Join us at Buzz for this free sharing of the movement performance that our LGBTQ+ community company have created with dance professionals from New Adventures.
The performance will be taking place at Buzz Theatre on Saturday 17 February, 4.30pm.
