The Service of Remembrance, on Sunday 10 November 2018, will commence at the War Memorial in Jubilee Square, Woking at 10.35am, concluding with a Two Minute Silence and laying of wreaths.
Singers from local choirs and choral groups will form a combined choir for the singing of hymns and the National Anthem.
Following the conclusion of the Service, uniformed units and organisations will march past the Mayor and Members of the Civic Procession in Church Street East.
All are welcome to attend, whether as members of the services, pre-service, ex-service units, civilian organisations or individuals. A limited number of seats will be available on request for visitors wishing to sit during the service.
Organisations wishing to join the parade are asked to assemble outside H.G. Wells Conference and Events Centre, Church Street East, no later than 9.50am.
The parade will leave at 10.15am and march to the War Memorial, to be in position by 10.30am.
A road closure will be in place in Church Street East from 8am to 12noon.
Wreath laying
Anyone wishing to lay wreaths should make themselves known to the Wreath Announcer - who will be located in Jubilee Square - by 10am, to ensure they can join the Wreath Laying Group in Jubilee Square.
